AI chatbots for websites
A chatbot is an artificial intelligence (AI) program on your website that understands customers' questions written in their own words and answers them in Lithuanian, English, Russian or another language, based on your prices, terms and FAQs. Saitai.lt builds chatbots that collect enquiries and pass complex questions on to a sales manager. Prices start at €490, with a timeline of 1–3 weeks.

Who it’s for
- Your staff answer the same questions about prices, delivery, opening hours or returns every day – by email, by phone and in your website chat.
- Most enquiries come in during evenings and weekends, when there's no one to answer, and in the meantime the customer finds another seller.
- Your website has plenty of information, but customers can't find it and phone you anyway.
- You want visitors to leave not just their contact details but also a clear idea of what they need, when and how much.
- Your current chatbot works with button-based scripts and can't understand a question typed in the customer's own words.
When it’s not the right fit
- You get only a handful of questions a week. A well-written FAQ page is enough.
- Almost every question needs an individual answer, such as an estimate based on drawings. The chatbot could only collect the details and pass them on to a specialist.
- Your prices, terms or range change every day, but they aren't kept in any system or document the chatbot could get them from.
- Your customers need individual health, legal or financial advice. A chatbot can give general information and book a consultation, but it can't advise a specific person.

Included
What you get
A chat window on your website
The widget is styled in your colours and can be added to any website. It works just as smoothly on a phone as on a computer.
A knowledge base built from your content
The chatbot answers from your website pages, price lists, terms and FAQs. When the answer isn't in the knowledge base, the chatbot is set up not to guess: it says it doesn't know and offers to put the customer in touch with a member of staff.
Collecting enquiries and contact details
When a customer wants a quote or a booking, the chatbot asks for the details needed and passes the enquiry on by email or to your CRM, along with the conversation history.
Handover to a sales manager
The chatbot passes a complex question, a complaint or a request to speak to a person on to a member of staff, along with the conversation history, so the customer doesn't have to repeat everything.
Clear AI disclosure
As the EU AI Act requires, the chat window states that answers come from AI. The customer can always ask to be contacted by a member of staff. Before contact details are collected, a link to your privacy policy is shown.
Conversation history and unanswered questions
You can see every conversation and a list of the questions the chatbot couldn't answer. We use it to add to the knowledge base.
Launch and a 12-month warranty
We test the chatbot with your customers' real questions and show you how to review conversations. For 12 months, we fix programming bugs free of charge.
Price
How much does a website chatbot cost?
Price from
€490
A website chatbot costs from €490: the price includes a chat window in your colours, a knowledge base built from your website and documents, contact details collection and handover to a sales manager. Each month, you pay separately for support – from €29/month (on our VPS) – and for AI model usage by volume of conversations.
Prices include all taxes – no VAT is added (we are not VAT-registered). The final price depends on the project: we put it and the timeline in the contract before work starts.
What the price depends on
- How many documents and pages the knowledge base needs, and how much tidying they need.
- Whether the chatbot has to check data in your systems, such as an order status in your online store.
- Where enquiries need to go: by email, to your CRM or to another system.
- How many languages the chatbot needs to answer in.
- Whether other channels are needed, such as Messenger, WhatsApp or Viber.
- How many separate scenarios are needed for complaints, returns or bookings.
Additional costs
- We choose where to host the chatbot based on its size: a VPS we provide (sized to your needs) or your own server; the price depends on this too. Support on our VPS from €29/month covers hosting, uptime monitoring and knowledge base updates.
- AI model usage (API) – charged by the actual volume of conversations, within a monthly limit agreed with you.
- Fees for WhatsApp or other platforms' business accounts, where they apply, are paid directly to the platforms.
- New channels, languages or integrations after launch – under a separate quote, agreed in writing.
Timeline
How long does it take to build a chatbot?
A chatbot with a knowledge base built from your website and FAQs takes 1–2 weeks from receiving the deposit and materials. If the chatbot has to check order statuses or pass enquiries to your CRM, the work takes 2–3 weeks. We assess the timeline and price for other channels (Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber) separately.
| Chatbot type | What's included | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Information chatbot | answers based on your website, price list and FAQs, contact details collection, handover by email | 1–2 weeks |
| Chatbot with integration | checking order status in your online store or passing enquiries to your CRM | 2–3 weeks |
| Multichannel chatbot | your website plus Messenger, WhatsApp or Viber | assessed separately |
Process
How it works
- Free assessment1–2 working days
We discuss the questions customers ask most often, who answers them now and where enquiries need to go.
- Specification and fixed price1–2 working days
We set out what the chatbot answers and what it doesn't, when it hands the conversation over to a person and what details it collects. The price and timeline go into the contract, and we start once we receive the 50% deposit.
- Knowledge base2–4 working days
We gather your website content, price lists, terms and the 20–50 most common questions with your answers. We go through any outdated or contradictory information with you.
- Testing in a test environment3–7 working days
You ask the chatbot your customers' questions, including the tricky ones. We fine-tune the answers, the tone and the rules for handing over to a person.
- Installation on your website1–2 working days
We add the chat window to your website, connect it to your email or CRM, and check that it works on phones and computers.
- Monitoring and warranty12 months
During the first month, we review conversations and add unanswered questions to the knowledge base. For 12 months, we fix programming bugs free of charge.

Examples
Typical scenarios
Questions and bookings at a dental clinic
- Situation
- For example, a dental clinic gets lots of questions about treatment prices, opening hours and how to prepare for a visit. The receptionist answers the phone while also checking in patients who have arrived.
- Solution
- The chatbot answers questions about prices, opening hours and preparing for a visit based on the clinic's information, and for those who want to book, it collects their contact details and preferred time. It doesn't answer questions about treatment – it suggests a consultation with a dentist instead.
- Result
- Fewer repeat calls, booking requests with all the details and a clear line between what the chatbot answers and what it doesn't.
Evening enquiries at a roofing company
- Situation
- For example, a roofing company gets most of its website enquiries in the evenings and at weekends. They often lack the key details: the area, the type of roofing and the address.
- Solution
- The chatbot answers general questions about materials and how the work is done, and asks a customer who wants an estimate for the area, roofing type, address and preferred dates. The enquiry with these details goes to the sales manager by email.
- Result
- Enquiries with all the details needed for an estimate, and answers for customers outside working hours.
Guesthouse questions in several languages
- Situation
- For example, a guesthouse on the coast gets questions in Lithuanian, English and Polish about pets, breakfast, parking and check-in times.
- Solution
- The chatbot answers in the customer's language based on the guesthouse rules, and for room availability it directs guests to the booking form or collects their dates and passes them on to the manager.
- Result
- Answers for guests from abroad without translation, fewer emails about the same rules, and booking requests with dates.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
That risk remains, but we reduce it considerably. The chatbot is only allowed to answer from your knowledge base, and if the answer isn't there, it says so and offers to put the customer in touch with a member of staff. Before launch, we test the chatbot with real customer questions, including ones it shouldn't answer, and after launch we review conversations and correct the knowledge base.
