Timeline
Text to speech with a player for articles or product descriptions in one language takes 2–5 working days from receipt of the deposit and access details. Current Lithuanian AI voices sound smooth and clear, but they do not always stress rare words, surnames or abbreviations correctly. That is why we prepare samples using your own text before launch and fix any mistakes in the pronunciation dictionary. An AI voice will not deliver the acting and emotion of a professional voice actor.
Yes, if that person agrees in writing to their voice being cloned and used on your website. The consent states where and for how long the voice will be used. We do not clone a voice without written consent.
You can use the recordings on your website, in videos and in training. Usage rights depend on the speech synthesis provider's terms – we check and explain them before the contract, especially if you plan to use the audio in advertising or sell it.
Yes. The EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) requires AI-generated audio to be labelled. So the player states that the recording was created by AI, and video descriptions mention that an AI voice was used.
The speech synthesis service is billed by the number of characters voiced, so the amount depends on how much you publish. Only new and edited text is voiced, and we agree a monthly cap with you so there are no surprises on the bill. Our quote includes a precise calculation based on your volume of text.
Audio files are stored on your website's server or on our server in the European Union, depending on the size of the website. Text is sent to the speech synthesis provider via the API; voicing unpublished or confidential text is discussed separately.
