Integration with Pigu.lt, Varle.lt and other marketplaces
Pigu.lt and Varle.lt integration means connecting your online store to these marketplaces: products, prices, stock levels and images from your store are sent to the marketplace automatically as an XML file or via an API, and, if needed, marketplace orders come back into your system. Saitai.lt has experience with XML import and export and with API integrations. We give you the price after a free assessment of your product data, and the indicative timeline for an integration is 2–6 weeks.

Who it’s for
- You already sell on Pigu.lt or Varle.lt, and you update products, prices and stock levels by hand in the marketplace's seller area.
- You plan to start selling on marketplaces and want the product range from your online store to get there automatically.
- The same product is sold in several places, and stock levels are updated too rarely, so there's a risk of selling something you no longer have.
- You want different prices or a different product range on the marketplace than in your own store – for example, to cover the commission.
- You copy marketplace orders into your online store or accounting software by hand.
- You have hundreds or thousands of products, and the marketplace requires set information for each one: category, description, images, codes.
When it’s not the right fit
- Your products have no barcodes (EAN or UPC), and the marketplace requires them – for example, in Varle.lt's XML guidelines, the barcode is a mandatory field. Then you first need to get the codes from your suppliers or manufacturers.
- You have a few dozen products that rarely change. Then it's often simpler to enter them by hand in the marketplace's seller area.
- You need us to make arrangements with the marketplace on your behalf. You handle seller registration, terms and commissions yourself, and we build the technical integration.
Included
What does marketplace integration include?
Analysing the marketplace's requirements
Using the marketplace's latest guidelines, we check the required format (XML or API), mandatory fields, categories and product information, and compare them with your product data.
Product XML export
On a schedule, your online store generates an XML file matching the marketplace's structure, with products, prices, stock levels and images.
Category and attribute mapping
We map your categories to the marketplace's categories, and attributes such as colour or size to its filters.
Separate marketplace prices
You can apply a different mark-up or rounding on the marketplace to cover the commission, while the prices in your online store stay the same.
Product range selection
We send the marketplace only selected categories, brands, or products with stock above a set level. Products without EAN codes are listed separately.
Stock and price updates
Stock levels and prices are updated on the marketplace on a schedule, so a sold product disappears from the marketplace as quickly as possible.
Order import
If the marketplace provides an API or another way of transferring orders, its orders arrive in your online store or accounting software and reduce your stock levels.
Log and 12-month warranty
You see how many products were sent and which were rejected because of missing data. We show you how to change the rules, and for 12 months we fix integration bugs free of charge.
Price
How much does integration with Pigu.lt or Varle.lt cost?
Price
After assessment
We set the price of a marketplace integration after an assessment, because it depends on the number of marketplaces, the quality of your product data, and whether you only need to export products or also bring orders back. The assessment is free: tell us your online store platform, the number of products and the marketplaces, and within 1 working day we'll reply with what's needed, what it would cost and how long it would take.
Prices include all taxes – no VAT is added (we are not VAT-registered). We write the price and timeline into the contract before work starts.
What the price depends on
- How many marketplaces you're connecting to, and how much their requirements differ.
- The number of products and variants, and whether all products have EAN codes and suitable images.
- Whether a product XML export is enough, or orders also need to come back via an API.
- How many categories and attributes need mapping to the marketplace's structure.
- Pricing rules: a separate mark-up, rounding, different prices for different marketplaces.
- Your online store platform, and whether supplier product import or an accounting integration is already in place.
Additional costs
- Marketplace fees (commission and any others that apply) are paid directly to the marketplace under your agreement with it.
- If products are missing EAN codes, descriptions or images, preparing them is separate work under a separate quote.
- A large, frequently updated catalogue may need more powerful hosting – we assess this before the contract.
- New marketplaces or rule changes after launch – under a separate quote, agreed in writing.
Timeline
How long does a marketplace integration take?
The indicative timeline for an integration is 2–6 weeks: a product XML export for a single marketplace is the quickest, while bringing orders back via an API and several marketplaces with different requirements take longer. We give the exact timeline together with the price after a free assessment. The timeline starts once we receive the deposit, the marketplace's guidelines and access details.
| Integration level | What's done | When it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Product export | an XML file with products, prices, stock levels and images in the marketplace's structure | when you start selling on one marketplace |
| Export and sync | plus separate prices, product range selection and more frequent stock updates | when the same products are sold in several places |
| Full integration | plus transfer of orders and their statuses via an API into your online store or accounting software | when there are so many marketplace orders you can no longer keep up with copying them |
Process
How it works
- Free assessment1 working day
You tell us your online store platform, the number of products and the marketplaces. We check whether your product data meets the marketplace's requirements.
- Rules description and price2–3 working days
We describe which products to send, how to map categories, how to calculate prices and what to do with orders. The price and timeline go into the contract, and we start work once we receive the 50% deposit.
- Category mapping
We map your categories and attributes to the marketplace's structure and discuss any unclear cases with you.
- Development and a test export
We build the XML export or API connection, and first check that the file is generated without errors and matches the marketplace's structure.
- Review together with you
Together we look at how the products appear on the marketplace, and fix any products or categories the marketplace has rejected.
- Launch and warranty12 months
We switch on scheduled updates and check the log daily for the first week. For 12 months, we fix integration bugs free of charge.
Comparison
Manual upload, a third-party platform or a custom integration?
| Criterion | Manual upload in the seller area | Third-party integration platform | Custom integration (Saitai.lt) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Upfront cost | €0 | usually a monthly subscription | after assessment |
| Time spent | grows with your product range | setup and keeping the settings up to date | just checking the log |
| Stock updates | whenever you find the time | depending on what the platform allows | on a schedule you choose |
| Separate marketplace prices | you calculate them yourself | if the platform allows it | any rules: by category, brand or marketplace |
| Orders | copied by hand | if the platform supports the marketplace | into your online store or accounting software, if the marketplace provides an API |
| Best for | a few dozen products | a standard store, when the platform supports both your system and the marketplace | non-standard rules, custom and VirtueMart stores |
Examples
Typical situations
The same products on two marketplaces
- Situation
- For example, a WooCommerce store wants to sell the same products on both Pigu.lt and Varle.lt, and currently updates stock levels on both marketplaces by hand once a day.
- Solution
- The store generates two XML files – one in each marketplace's structure – a separate mark-up applies on the marketplaces, and stock levels are updated on a schedule.
- Result
- One place to manage products and prices, less manual work and a lower risk of selling an out-of-stock product.
Only part of the product range
- Situation
- For example, a home textiles store wants to offer only its most popular categories on a marketplace, and some of its products have no EAN codes.
- Solution
- A rule includes only the selected categories and products with EAN codes in the XML file, and you receive a separate list of products without codes.
- Result
- A well-organised range on the marketplace, and a clear list of products still missing data.
Marketplace orders into your accounting software
- Situation
- For example, a store copies marketplace orders into its online store every day so that stock levels and invoices match the accounting software.
- Solution
- If the marketplace provides an orders API, orders are created automatically in the online store and reach the accounting software through the existing integration.
- Result
- A single flow of orders, and stock levels that match across all sales channels.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Each marketplace sets its own requirements in its seller guidelines: the data format (an XML file or an API), the categories and the mandatory product information. For example, in Varle.lt's public XML guidelines, the mandatory fields are product ID, category, title, description, final price, delivery time, images, stock level and barcode (EAN or UPC) (checked in October 2026). Requirements change, so before starting work we check them against the marketplace's latest guidelines.
