Who it’s for

  • Your customers use your service regularly – ordering, booking, collecting points – and an app on their phone is more convenient for them than a website.
  • You need push notifications: appointment reminders, order status updates or special offers for regular customers.
  • Your staff work away from the office – fitters, couriers, service technicians – and need to mark tasks as done, take photos, scan codes or work without an internet connection.
  • You already have a website, online store or CRM, and you want the app to use the same data rather than a separate system.
  • You need phone features that a website can only use to a limited extent or not at all: the camera, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth devices.

When it’s not the right fit

  • You need your website to be easy to use on a phone. A responsive website is enough for that – every website we build is optimised for phones.
  • The idea hasn't been tested yet, and the budget is under €2,900. It's worth testing demand first with a website or a PWA – an app that runs in the browser, which can later be followed by an app published in the stores.
  • You only need the app so that it's in the stores, with no clear benefit for users. Apple's review often rejects apps that simply replicate a website, and few people download them anyway.
  • You need the app within 2–3 weeks. Even a simple app needs design, testing on phones and app store review, so when time is short, a website or a PWA is usually the better fit.

Services

What kind of app do you need?

Android apps (Google Play)

An app for Android phones and tablets: development, testing on devices from different manufacturers and publishing on Google Play under your company's account.

iOS apps (App Store)

An app for iPhone and iPad: development in line with Apple's requirements, a test version on your own phone and publishing on the App Store.

Included

What you get

Specification and prototype

We describe the screens, user types and features, and build an interactive prototype. Before any coding starts, it shows how the app will work and how much it will cost.

Design that follows platform guidelines

Design based on your brand identity and on the Android (Material Design) and iOS (Human Interface Guidelines) principles, so that the app feels familiar to users of both platforms.

Android and iOS development

When building mobile apps, we choose the technology to suit the project: a single codebase for both platforms, or separate apps when many platform-specific phone features are needed.

Admin panel and API

We build the server side on Laravel: managing content, users and orders, and sending notifications. If your website or CRM is already up and running, we connect to it.

Login, notifications, payments

Login with email or a Google or Apple account, push notifications, and payments by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay – according to the specification.

Testing on phones

We test the app on Android and iOS phones of different sizes and on different operating system versions, and you get a test version on your own phone before publishing.

Publishing on Google Play and the App Store

We prepare the descriptions, screenshots and privacy information, submit the app for review and make changes based on Apple's or Google's feedback.

Training and a 12-month warranty

We show you how to manage content and users in the admin panel. For 12 months, we fix bugs in how the app works free of charge.

Price

How much does it cost to develop a mobile app?

Price from

€2,900

Developing a mobile app costs from €2,900. The final price depends on the number of screens and features, the platforms and the integrations, so we set it based on the specification and put it in the contract. Apps with login, payments and connections to several systems cost more.

Prices include all taxes – no VAT is added (we are not VAT-registered). The final price depends on the project: we put it and the timeline in the contract before work starts.

Get an exact price

What the price depends on

  • Platforms: Android only, iOS only or both; a single codebase or separate apps.
  • The number of screens and user types (for example, customer, employee, administrator).
  • Features: login, payments, notifications, maps, camera, offline mode.
  • Whether a new server side and admin panel are needed, or we connect to your existing website or CRM.
  • Integrations: accounting software, online store, booking or payment systems.
  • The number of languages, and whether you or we write the app's texts.

Additional costs

  • Developer accounts: the Apple Developer Program has an annual fee (currently USD 99), and Google Play Console a one-off registration fee (USD 25). You pay Apple and Google directly, and the accounts are registered in your company's name.
  • We choose where to host the server side based on its size: shared Saitai.lt servers, a VPS we order for you, or your own server; the price depends on this too.
  • Updates after launch: new versions of Android and iOS come out every year, and the app stores require apps to be updated. We agree maintenance or one-off work (€30/hour) in writing.
  • Payment provider fees; when selling digital content in the app – Apple's and Google's commission under their rules.

Timeline

How long does it take to develop an app?

A simple app takes 1 month (4 weeks), and a larger one longer: we set the exact timeline once the specification is ready and put it in the contract. Some stages run in parallel – for example, we develop the server side while the design is being finalised. Development and testing take the most time, and we allow extra time for Apple's and Google's review, since changes may be needed based on their feedback the first time an app is published. For larger apps, we suggest building and publishing in stages.

Process

How it works

  1. Free consultation1–2 working days

We discuss who the app is for, which 3–5 features matter most and which systems it needs to work with. If a website or a PWA would be a better fit, we'll tell you.

  2. Specification, price and contract1–3 weeks

We describe the screens and features and build a prototype. The price, timeline and terms for handing over the code go into the contract, and we start once we receive the 50% deposit.

  3. Design1–3 weeks

We design the main screens based on your brand identity and agree them with you before development.

  4. Development and integrationsper the specification

We develop the app and the server side and connect your systems. You try out interim versions on your own phone.

  5. Testing and publishing1–5 weeks

We test the app on different phones, fix bugs and submit it for Google Play and App Store review under your company's accounts.

  6. Warranty and updates12 months

For 12 months, we fix bugs free of charge. Updates for new Android and iOS versions and new features are agreed separately.

Examples

Typical projects

An ordering and loyalty app

Situation
For example, a chain of cafés wants its regular customers to be able to order ahead, collect points and get notifications about special offers.
Solution
An app for Android and iOS phones with the menu, pre-orders that customers collect at the café, loyalty points and notifications; in the admin panel, staff see the orders and update the menu.
Result
A direct line to regular customers, shorter queues at the till and all orders in one place.

An app for service technicians

Situation
For example, technicians at a heating equipment servicing company get their jobs by phone and email their completed work and photos in the evening.
Solution
An internal app connected to the company's CRM: technicians see their jobs for the day, photograph completed work and get the customer's signature on screen, and the data syncs once there's a connection.
Result
Job reports straight away, photos attached to the customer record and fewer calls to the office.

Booking training sessions

Situation
For example, a sports club takes bookings on its website, but members want to see the timetable and book on their phones, and coaches want notifications about cancellations.
Solution
An app that uses the same booking system as the website: the timetable, booking and cancelling, membership status and reminders before each session.
Result
One booking system for the website and the app, fewer no-shows and fewer empty places.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Yes. We build apps for both platforms and publish them on Google Play and the App Store. A single codebase for both platforms is often the right choice – it's cheaper and faster than two separate apps. We suggest separate apps when many platform-specific phone features or maximum performance are needed.
