Where we get your data from

You provide most of the data yourself: by filling in the enquiry form, sending an email or message, calling us or concluding a contract. If you contact us on behalf of a company, some data (for example, company details) may be provided by your company.

We need your contact details in order to reply to you. Without them, we will not be able to reply or prepare a quote. When you submit the enquiry form, you confirm that you have read this privacy policy; this is not consent – we process enquiry data on the legal bases set out in the table above.

The website collects technical data automatically as you browse. Analytics data is only collected if you consent to it.

Who we share data with

  • Our hosting provider in Lithuania (iv.lt / serveriai.lt) – the website runs on its servers, and the website's data is stored there.
  • Our email service provider – our email (info@saitai.lt) runs on the servers of the same hosting provider in Lithuania; we use it to receive enquiries and correspond with you.
  • Google Ireland Limited – for website traffic analysis (Google Analytics 4), only if you consent.
  • Advertising platforms (Google, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) – only if we use ad measurement or remarketing, and only with your consent.
  • Partner specialists (subcontractors) – designers, developers and others, when they are needed to deliver your project. They process data on our behalf and only on our instructions, as provided for in the data processing agreements we have concluded with them (Article 28 GDPR), and they must keep the data confidential and secure.
  • An external accounting firm – to process invoices and accounting documents.
  • Public authorities, law enforcement or courts – only where required by law.
  • We do not sell your data or share it with other parties for their own marketing purposes.

Is data transferred outside the EU?

The website, its data and our email are hosted in Lithuania (European Union).

Google and Meta may also process data in the United States. These companies participate in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision, and they apply the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

If any other service provider were to process data outside the European Economic Area, this would only be done with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

What rights you have

  • To find out whether we process your data and to obtain a copy of it.
  • To ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data.
  • To ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed, when you withdraw your consent or when it is processed unlawfully. We will not be able to delete data that we are required by law to keep (for example, accounting documents) until the retention period ends.
  • To ask us to restrict the processing of your data, for example while we check whether it is accurate.
  • To object to the processing of your data on the basis of our legitimate interest.
  • To receive the data you have provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to ask us to transmit it to another controller, where we process it on the basis of consent or a contract.
  • To withdraw your consent at any time, for example by changing your cookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

How to exercise your rights

Email us at info@saitai.lt or send a letter by post to Alaušo g. 1C, LT-08424 Vilnius.

We will reply without undue delay and within 1 month at the latest. If the request is complex or we receive a large number of requests, we may extend this period by a further 2 months – we will let you know if we do.

Exercising your rights is free of charge. To make sure we do not disclose your data to someone else, we may ask you to confirm your identity.

Where to lodge a complaint

If you believe we are not handling your data properly, please write to us first – we will try to resolve the matter quickly.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija): L. Sapiegos g. 17, LT-10312 Vilnius, email ada@ada.lt, www.vdai.lrv.lt.

How we protect your data

The website runs over a secure HTTPS connection. Only people who need the data for their work have access to it. The website is protected by a firewall, and we update the software regularly and make backups.

If a personal data breach occurred that posed a risk to your rights, we would notify the State Data Protection Inspectorate and, where required by the GDPR, you as well.

Profiling, data protection officer and children

We do not profile you and do not make automated decisions that would have legal or similarly significant effects on you. If we were to turn on remarketing, it would only work with your consent, and we would update this policy.

We have not appointed a data protection officer – under Article 37 GDPR, we are not required to do so. For all data protection matters, email us at info@saitai.lt.

The website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly process the data of children under the age of 14.

Changes to this policy and effective date

We review this policy when the services we use or the law change. The latest version is always published on this page, and we clearly mark any significant changes. In case of any discrepancy, the Lithuanian version prevails.

How we use cookies is described in detail in our Cookie Policy (saitai.lt/en/cookie-policy/).
