AI site search that understands what visitors mean

We add semantic AI search to your existing website, online store or internal knowledge base. It searches by meaning rather than exact keywords: it copes with Lithuanian word endings, synonyms and typos, and can answer a question in a short paragraph with links to the sources. Your content is indexed in a vector database. Price: from €790; separate server (VPS): from €29/month. You can start with a pilot using your visitors’ real search queries.

A good fit if

  • Your online store has hundreds or thousands of products, yet search returns nothing when a shopper types “red boots for a girl” or makes a typo.
  • Customers ask about things already covered on your website, in manuals or FAQs, but cannot find the right page.
  • Staff spend too long looking for answers in internal documents, policies or past quotes.
  • You have lots of articles, product descriptions or technical documents in several languages.
  • You want search to do more than list links – to give a short answer and show where it came from.

Not the best fit if

  • Your site has a dozen or so pages or products – a clear menu and standard search will do.
  • Products have hardly any descriptions (just names and codes) – semantic search has nothing to work with. Fill in the descriptions first.
  • You expect search never to get it wrong. We do not promise that: we measure quality on your queries and keep improving it, but we do not guarantee 100% accuracy.
  • Answers depend on confidential data that cannot be stored on any external server – then we look at a private set-up on your own server (see knowledge bases and custom AI models).

We have hands-on experience building smart search on a vector database that returns full answers, not just links, as well as AI chatbots that answer from company documents. We do not name our clients – confidentiality agreements require it.

Included

What you get

Search by meaning

Finds the right products and pages even when shoppers use different words, word endings or typos. Where needed, we combine it with standard search for SKUs and exact names.

Vector database

We turn your product descriptions, articles or documents into vectors and keep them on a separate EU server. Search is fast and puts no load on your website.

Answers with sources

Ask something like “is this adhesive suitable for outdoor tiles?” and search can give a short answer plus the pages or documents it is based on. If your content has no answer, it says so.

Several languages

A question in English can find a document written in Lithuanian. On a multilingual site, search works in every language version.

Automatic updates

When products, prices or articles change, the index updates itself – on a schedule or straight after the change.

Tests built from your queries

We build a test set from your site search history and customer questions, and show you before launch what search finds now and what it finds afterwards.

Search log

See what visitors look for and fail to find – a clear pointer to missing products, descriptions or FAQ answers.

Launch and a 12-month warranty

We fit the search box into your design and test it on mobile and desktop. Programming bugs are fixed free of charge for 12 months.

Price

How much does AI site search cost?

AI site search costs from €790: this covers indexing one source (such as your product catalogue or articles) in a vector database, the search box on your website, a test set and automatic updates. A separate server (VPS) for search costs from €29/month, and AI model usage is billed by actual query volume within an agreed cap. If you would like to try it first, the AI pilot costs from €590.

Prices are final – no VAT is charged (we are not VAT-registered). The final price depends on the project: we fix it and the timeline in the contract before work starts. We do not promise accuracy percentages – we show quality on your own queries.

What the price depends on

  • How many sources need connecting: product catalogue, articles, PDF documents, FAQs.
  • How many products or documents you have and how often they change.
  • Whether search only needs to find products or also answer questions in text.
  • How many languages search must support.
  • Whether you need filters by price, stock, category or other fields.
  • Which platform your site runs on and whether search must fit the current design.

Additional costs

  • A separate server (VPS) for the vector database – from €29/month; for larger volumes we size the server to the job, or install search on your own server.
  • AI model usage (API) – by actual query volume, with a monthly cap agreed in advance.
  • Maintenance after the warranty – packages: €29/month, €59/month or €119/month, depending on how many changes you need.
  • New sources or languages after launch – under a separate quote, agreed in writing.

Timeline

How long does it take to add AI search?

Search across one source, such as a product catalogue, is usually live within 1–2 weeks of the deposit and access details. Connecting several sources with filters and text answers takes 2–3 weeks. The exact timeline goes into the quote after the free assessment.

Process

How we work

  1. Free assessment1–2 working days

We review your website, search history and content, and tell you whether semantic search is worth it or whether tidying up standard search is enough.

  2. Pilot1–2 weeks

Let’s start with a pilot: over 1–2 weeks we index one source and compare, on your real queries, what current search finds against AI search. The pilot costs from €590; based on the results we decide together whether to continue.

  3. Specification and fixed price1–2 working days

We set out the sources, languages, filters and answer rules. Price and timeline go into the contract; work starts once the 50% deposit is paid.

  4. Indexing and tuning3–7 working days

We set up the vector database, connect it to your website or system and tune search accuracy against the test set.

  5. Going live on your site1–3 working days

We fit the search box into your design, switch on automatic updates and the search log, and test on mobile and desktop.

  6. Monitoring and warranty12 months

In the first month we review what visitors search for and fail to find, and refine it. Programming bugs are fixed free of charge for 12 months.

Examples

Typical situations

These examples show how the solution works. They are not specific client cases – we do not publish client names.

Building supplies online store

Situation
For example, a store has thousands of products, and shoppers search by purpose rather than product name: “outdoor tile adhesive”, “paint for a damp room”.
Solution
AI search understands the purpose and finds suitable products from their descriptions, while SKU and brand search works as before.
Outcome
Shoppers find products in their own words, and the search log shows which descriptions are missing.

Equipment manufacturer’s manuals

Situation
For example, a manufacturer’s website holds hundreds of PDF manuals in several languages, yet customers still phone with questions the manuals already answer.
Solution
Search finds the right place in the manual and gives a short answer with a link to the document and page.
Outcome
Customers find answers themselves, and staff spend less time on repeat questions.

Internal company knowledge base

Situation
For example, staff at a service company hunt for policies, templates and past quotes in shared folders.
Solution
Documents are indexed in internal search with access rights, so everyone sees only what they are allowed to see.
Outcome
Answers with links to documents in seconds, without asking colleagues.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does AI search understand Lithuanian?

Yes. Current AI models handle Lithuanian word endings, synonyms and common typos, as well as English and Russian. Quality still depends on your content and the chosen model, so we test it in the pilot on your visitors’ real queries before you decide to go ahead.

Do we need to rebuild our website or store?

No. Search connects to your existing platform – WooCommerce, WordPress, Joomla, VirtueMart, Laravel or a custom system. Only the search box and results page change; your products and content stay where they are.

How is AI search different from a chatbot?

Search finds products, pages and documents and can give a short answer with sources. A chatbot holds a conversation: it asks follow-up questions, collects contact details and passes enquiries to your team. Both can use the same vector database, so you can add them together or one after the other.

Where is our data stored?

The vector database sits on a separate server in the European Union or on your own server. To write an answer, the question and the matching passages are sent to the AI model provider via its API – we check the provider’s data-use terms on every project. Confidential documents can be indexed in internal search only, with access rights.

What are the monthly running costs?

The separate server (VPS) costs from €29/month, and AI model usage depends on query volume: we set a monthly cap and monitor it. If you need regular changes, you can choose a maintenance package: €29/month, €59/month or €119/month.

What if search returns the wrong result?

The search log shows what visitors searched for and what they got. We fix poor results by improving descriptions, synonyms or search rules. Text answers always come with sources so visitors can check them, and when there is no answer, search says so.
