Off-page SEO and link building

Off-page SEO (off-page optimisation) is work outside your website that makes it more trustworthy in the eyes of search engines: backlinks and mentions on other websites, trusted directories, and articles on partner and industry portals. Saitai.lt builds links only in ways that comply with Google's rules, and never buys them from link networks. Off-page SEO is included in the Business (€349/month) and Premium (from €649/month) monthly SEO plans, and a one-off job costs from €120.

Who it’s for

  • Your website is technically sound and the content is good, but for competitive queries you are outranked by competitors that more websites write about.
  • Your company or website is new: no one writes about it yet, and hardly anyone links to it.
  • You work with manufacturers, suppliers, partners or associations whose websites could mention your company, but no one has ever arranged it.
  • You have changed your domain or URLs, and directories and partner websites still link to the old address.
  • A previous agency bought links, and you want to know whether they are harming your website.
  • You have useful expertise – price guides, tips, reviews – and want industry portals to reference it.

When it’s not the right fit

  • You want "100 links a month" for a fixed price. Volumes like that usually come only from link networks and low-quality directories, and they can harm your website.
  • Your website still has indexing errors or thin pages of just a few sentences. Links to pages like that are of little use – technical and on-page SEO come first.
  • You need customers within a few weeks. Off-page SEO is the slowest part of SEO to work, and Google Ads is a better fit for quick traffic.
  • You serve one city, and customers find you on Google Maps. Then local SEO and a Google Business Profile are more useful to start with.

Included

What you get

Backlink analysis

We gather everything that already links to your website – from the Search Console links report and link analysis tools. You see which links help, which point to broken pages and which look risky.

Competitor link comparison

We find out which websites link to the 3–5 competitors that rank for your main queries. This reveals real opportunities: industry portals, associations and directories where you aren't listed yet.

Trusted directories

We list your company in a few Lithuanian business directories that people actually use, with the same name, address and phone number everywhere. We don't use dozens of low-quality directories – they don't help and sometimes do harm.

Partner and supplier mentions

We draw up a list of the companies you genuinely work with: manufacturers, distributors, clients, associations. We prepare a short text for them and a request to mention your company with a link.

Articles on industry portals

We look for portals and blogs that would value your specialist's comment, a guide or a review. We suggest paid placements only after agreeing them with you, and mark the link in them with the "sponsored" attribute, as Google requires.

Content worth linking to

Together with you, we create pages that others are happy to share: price guides, checklists, comparisons. This is the basis for natural links that you don't have to buy.

Reclaiming lost links

We find links pointing to deleted or moved pages and fix them with a 301 redirect or ask the site owner to update the address. We also look for mentions of your company that have no link.

Monitoring and reporting

Every month you see new and lost links, where they come from and the visitors they bring, based on Google Analytics 4 data. The report lists every link, not just the total count.

Price

How much does off-page SEO cost?

Price from

€120

Off-page SEO is included in the Business (€349/month) and Premium (from €649/month) monthly SEO plans. The Start plan (€199/month) doesn't include link building – the only off-page SEO work it covers is your Google Business Profile. One-off off-page SEO work, such as fixing links after a domain change, costs from €120 – the price depends on the website and the number of pages. Paid placements are not included in the plan price: we suggest them only after agreeing with you, and you pay the publisher directly.

Prices include all taxes – no VAT is added (we are not VAT-registered). The minimum monthly SEO contract term is 3 months. For a separate project, we give the price and timeline in a quote before we start.

What the price depends on

  • Competition in your field: how many links your competitors have, and of what kind.
  • Whether your link profile already contains risky links that need assessing.
  • How many real partners, suppliers and associations can be involved.
  • Whether new content worth linking to needs to be created.
  • Whether you've changed your domain or URLs and old links need reclaiming.
  • The market: Lithuania only, or portals in other languages too.

Additional costs

  • Paid placements on portals or paid directories – only when agreed in advance; you pay the publisher directly.
  • Articles for placements, if you need more than the plan includes – from €29 per page.

Timeline

How long does off-page SEO take to show results?

Off-page SEO is the slowest part of SEO. We prepare the link profile analysis and a plan within 1–2 weeks, the first directory listings and partner mentions appear within 1–2 months, and the impact on rankings usually shows after 3–6 months – later in highly competitive fields. We can't promise in advance how many links will appear: publication is up to the owner of the other website.

Examples

Typical projects

A new domain, but the links still point to the old one

Situation
For example, a company has rebranded and changed its domain, while directories, partner websites and old articles still link to the old address.
Solution
A list of old links, a check of the 301 redirects, requests to site owners to update the links, and corrected directory listings.
Result
Links that lead straight to the new website, and consistent company details across the web.

An official distributor the manufacturers don't mention

Situation
For example, a company represents several European manufacturers in Lithuania, but it isn't included in the distributor lists on the manufacturers' websites.
Solution
A list of manufacturers and associations whose websites have distributor or member pages; company details and a request prepared for each of them.
Result
Links from relevant, trusted websites that also bring in targeted visitors.

Bought links from the past

Situation
For example, a previous agency "built" dozens of links every month, and Search Console shows links from unrelated foreign websites.
Solution
A link profile analysis and a list of risky links. We prepare a disavow file only if a manual action has been applied or we find many obviously bought links; after that, we work to a safe plan.
Result
A clear picture of which links help, and a risk-free link building plan.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Off-page SEO is work outside your website: backlinks, mentions on other websites, directories and articles. Search engines treat them as recommendations. On-page SEO deals with the content and structure of the pages themselves, and technical SEO with indexing and speed. Off-page SEO works best once those two are in order.
