AI search optimisation (GEO): visibility in ChatGPT and AI search

GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) means preparing your website and your company's information online so that ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Overviews find your pages, understand them and cite them when answering customers. Saitai.lt carries out AI search optimisation together with SEO; the technical foundations are in place within 1 month. Prices start at €349/month (the Business SEO plan).

Who it’s for

  • When you ask ChatGPT or Perplexity which company to choose in your field in Lithuania, it mentions your competitors, but not you.
  • AI answers about your company give old or incorrect details: your address, services, prices.
  • For informational searches, Google shows an AI Overview above the results, and clicks to your website have dropped.
  • Customers choose your services or products by comparing and asking: "how much does … cost", "what's the difference between…", "which … should I choose".
  • You sell to other businesses, and decision-makers increasingly look for suppliers in a conversation with an AI assistant.

When it’s not the right fit

  • Your website isn't indexed by Google and Bing yet, or has serious technical errors. AI search relies on search engine indexes, so you need the SEO basics first – start with an SEO audit or the Start plan.
  • You want a guarantee that ChatGPT will mention your company. Nobody can promise that: answers vary with the wording of the question, the user, their location and the time. We commit to doing the work and measuring the changes.
  • You expect an llms.txt file or a single "AI plugin" to be enough. One-off technical fixes, without content and mentions on other websites, won't change your visibility in AI answers.

What you get

AI crawler access and indexing

In robots.txt, we allow AI search crawlers (OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot). We verify your website in Bing Webmaster Tools and turn on IndexNow, because ChatGPT and Copilot also rely on Bing's search index.

Text visible without JavaScript

We check that your main text, prices and FAQs are in the page's HTML. Some AI crawlers don't run JavaScript, so text hidden behind animations stays invisible to them, and counters show "0".

Answer-first content

Key pages open with a 40–60-word definition, headings are phrased as customer questions, and each is followed by a direct answer. AI most often cites a self-contained passage of 40–120 words that makes sense without the rest of the page.

Facts, figures and tables

We replace empty adjectives with facts: "from" prices, timelines, terms, comparison tables, the date last updated and the author – the kind of pages AI cites most often.

Structured data

We add JSON-LD markup: Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, Product, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList. The markup matches the visible text – no hidden claims meant only for bots.

Consistent company details

We make your company name, address, phone number and business description consistent on your website, Google Business Profile, Bing Places and in Lithuanian business directories. AI compares sources, so conflicting details make it less likely that your company gets mentioned.

Mentions on other websites

AI is more likely to recommend companies confirmed by several independent sources: directories, customer reviews, partner pages, articles. We draw up a mentions plan and help you put it into practice; we don't buy mentions from dubious websites.

llms.txt file

We prepare a short description of your website for AI systems, with links to your most important pages. It isn't an official standard yet, but it's quick to prepare and does your website no harm.

AI visibility tracking

Every month, we put the same set of questions your customers ask to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, and record whether your company is mentioned and who is cited instead of you. In GA4 reports, you see visitors from AI assistants separately.

Price

How much does AI search optimisation (GEO) cost?

Price from

€349/month

AI search optimisation (GEO) costs from €349/month: it's included in the Business SEO plan, together with technical SEO, 2 texts a month, links and a report with a call. For online stores and highly competitive fields, there's the Premium plan from €649/month. We don't offer GEO separately from SEO, because AI search relies on the same search indexes and the same content.

Prices include all taxes – no VAT is added (we are not VAT-registered). The minimum contract term is 3 months. The final price depends on the project: we put it in the contract before work starts.

Get an exact price

What the price depends on

  • How many competitors in your field already have clear answers, prices and FAQs on their websites.
  • Your website's technical condition: whether the text is visible without JavaScript, whether crawlers are blocked, whether pages are indexed.
  • How many existing pages need rewriting on the answer-first principle, and how many new pages are missing.
  • Whether your company details in directories and on maps match, or need correcting.
  • How many topics and questions we track each month.
  • The number of language versions.

Additional costs

  • Extra texts, if you need more than the plan includes – from €29 per page.
  • Larger technical changes (e.g. reworking a template so that text is visible without JavaScript) – €30 per hour, or under a separate quote.
  • Paid publications or directory listings – only when agreed with you in advance; you pay the publisher directly.

Timeline

How soon will you see GEO results?

The technical foundations – crawler access, Bing verification, structured data – are in place within the first month. AI systems that search the web in real time can start citing a new page soon after it's indexed, but more stable changes usually show after 3–6 months, once content and mentions on other websites have built up.

How it works

  1. Free initial review1–2 working days

  2. Audit and question set5–10 working days

We carry out an SEO audit with an AI visibility assessment and, together with you, draw up 15–20 questions customers ask before choosing a supplier.

  3. Technical foundations1 month

We set up crawler access, Bing Webmaster Tools, IndexNow, structured data and llms.txt, and check that your text is visible without JavaScript.

  4. Contentevery month

We rewrite key pages on the answer-first principle, add tables and FAQs, and write the missing pages.

  5. Company details and mentionsevery month

We make your company details consistent across directories and maps, and plan mentions on other websites.

  6. Measurement and reportevery month

Every month we rerun the question set, review GA4 and crawler visits, and go through the report with you on a call.

Examples

Typical projects

AI recommends your competitors

Situation
For example, an accounting services firm notices that when it asks Perplexity which accounting firm to choose in its city, the answer cites directories and two competitors' websites that publish prices and FAQs.
Solution
A pricing page with a table and "from" prices, service pages with direct answers and FAQs, company profiles in directories, and Organization and Service data.
Result
Pages that AI can cite when answering questions about prices and choosing a provider, and a monthly view of the change across the same questions.

Outdated details in AI answers

Situation
For example, a company moved and changed its name two years ago, but ChatGPT still gives the old address, because it remains in several directories and old articles.
Solution
A list of every place the company is mentioned, corrected details in directories, Google Business Profile and Bing Places, Organization data, and a clear "About us" page with the company's history.
Result
Consistent company details across all the sources AI draws information from, and fewer wrong answers about the company.

Text that AI crawlers can't see

Situation
For example, a website's text only appears once animations run, and figures are loaded by counters. A crawler that doesn't run JavaScript sees an almost empty page and the number "0".
Solution
Animations turned off for the main blocks, facts in plain text, a check that the text is visible in the HTML, and key pages restructured on the answer-first principle.
Result
Pages that people, Google and AI crawlers all see the same way, and facts that AI no longer distorts.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

SEO aims for higher rankings and clicks in search results, while GEO aims to get your company mentioned and cited in AI answers. The foundations are shared: indexing, content, links. With GEO, though, clear answers at the top of the page, figures, consistent company details and mentions on other websites matter more. That's why we do GEO together with SEO, not instead of it.
