Accessibility statement

Saitai.lt wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, only a keyboard or screen magnification. We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA, but for now the website only partially meets it – we list the known limitations below. If you come across a barrier, email info@saitai.lt or call +370 670 99265.

What this statement covers

This statement applies to the saitai.lt website: its service, price, portfolio, article, contact and other pages. The website is operated by Web studija, MB (company code 306455709).

We publish this statement on our own initiative. We help clients make their websites accessible to people with disabilities, so we want to show openly how these requirements have been implemented on our own website and what is still missing.

This statement does not apply to websites we build for clients: their accessibility depends on the brief and the decisions made in each project.

Conformance status

We aim for the website to meet the level AA success criteria of the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2). At present, the website partially meets them: some content and features do not yet meet all level AA criteria. The non-conformities are listed in the "Known limitations" section.

No independent external audit has been carried out. The assessment was made by the Saitai.lt team (self-assessment), so this statement is not a certificate of conformity.

What we tested and what works

Below are the areas we tested before publishing the website, and the results. Except for the limitations listed, they apply to the new templates for service, information, price, portfolio and article pages.

AreaHow we testedResult
Colour contrastwe calculated the contrast of the main colour combinations and ran an automated checkcontrast for body text, the footer and buttons is at least 4.5:1, and for large text and icons at least 3:1; exceptions are listed in the "Known limitations" section
Keyboardwe navigated using only the keyboard (Tab, Enter, Esc) on desktop and mobile screensthe menu (desktop and mobile), the cookie banner and its settings, forms and scrollable tables can be operated by keyboard; Esc closes the menu, focus is visible, and there is a "Skip to content" link at the top of the page; exceptions are listed in the "Known limitations" section
Structure and headingsautomated page checkeach page has one H1 heading, the main content is marked up as the main region (main), the menu and breadcrumbs as navigation regions, and sections are marked with H2 headings; exceptions are listed in the "Known limitations" section
Imageswe checked image descriptions (alt text)images on the home page, portfolio, article and service pages have meaningful descriptions, and client logos have the company names
Motionwe tested with the "reduce motion" setting turned on and without JavaScriptwith "reduce motion" turned on, animations are switched off and the background video does not play; the video can be paused with a button and is not shown on phones; content remains visible without JavaScript
Phones and zoomwe tested on screens 320–1920 px wideno horizontal scrolling; the menu button, footer links and other buttons on phones are at least 44 px
Formswe checked field labels, error messages and contrastall form fields have visible labels and autocomplete purposes, required fields are marked, errors are linked to their fields and have sufficient contrast, and the message confirming that an enquiry has been sent stays on screen and is read out by screen readers
Languagewe checked the page language attributethe page language is declared in the page code (the assessed Lithuanian version is declared as Lithuanian)

Known limitations

  • The moving pattern at the top of pages (in the header background) can only be stopped by turning on the "reduce motion" setting – there is no separate pause button (WCAG 2.2.2).
  • On desktop screens, the services menu and drop-down menus open when they receive focus, so keyboard users have to tab through all the menu links; the menu can be bypassed with the "Skip to content" link (WCAG 2.4.3).
  • Our portfolio shows screenshots of websites, logos and printed materials. Text visible in the screenshots is not provided separately, but the title and description of each project are shown alongside.
  • We have not yet tested the website with screen readers (for example, NVDA or VoiceOver), so we cannot confirm that they read out all elements as expected.

Content not covered by this statement

We do not publish our own PDFs or other downloadable documents on the website – all information is provided on web pages.

Some articles link to other organisations' websites and their PDF documents, such as legislation or guidelines. The operators of those websites are responsible for their accessibility.

Links to WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram and Google Maps open third-party services whose accessibility we do not control.

How we assessed accessibility

We assessed the website on 27–28 September 2026 before publishing it, and rechecked the fixes on 6 October 2026. We ran automated checks (with the axe-core tool and additional scripts: contrast, headings, navigation region markup, image descriptions, page widths of 320–1920 px), navigated using only the keyboard on desktop and mobile screens, tested increased text spacing, and checked pages with the "reduce motion" setting turned on.

We checked different types of pages: the home page, service, price, portfolio, article, contact and legal information pages.

What we plan to fix

We have already fixed most of the issues found during the assessment: we added a "Skip to content" link and main content region markup, reworked the mobile menu, the cookie banner, the enquiry forms and the background video, and replaced the image descriptions on the home page. Next, we plan to fix the issues listed in the "Known limitations" section.

We also plan to test the website with screen readers. We will update this statement after major changes to the website and at least once a year, giving the new assessment date. In case of any discrepancy, the Lithuanian version prevails.
