On-page SEO optimisation
On-page SEO (on-page optimisation) is work on the pages of your website itself: keyword research and mapping keywords to pages, site structure, page titles (title tags), meta descriptions, headings, content and internal links. Saitai.lt makes these changes directly on your website, rather than just listing them in a report. Ongoing on-page SEO is included in our monthly SEO plans from €199/month, and a one-off job costs from €120 (depending on the website and the number of pages).

Who it’s for
- Your website has plenty of pages, but for searches for your main services Google shows the wrong page – or none at all.
- Several pages compete for the same search query, so they keep swapping places in search and none of them climbs higher.
- Your page titles and descriptions in search results are duplicated, cut off or don't match the content.
- Your service pages have just a few sentences each, and customers' questions about price, timelines and the process go unanswered.
- Google Search Console shows lots of impressions but few clicks: the page is visible, but people don't choose it.
- You are building or expanding a website and want the menu, URLs and pages to match what customers search for from the start.
When it’s not the right fit
- Google isn't indexing important pages, the website is very slow, or it shows 404 errors after a migration. Technical SEO comes first – otherwise search engines simply won't see any changes to the content.
- You don't know where to start and only want a to-do list. Then an SEO audit from €49 is the right fit: you get a prioritised list of errors and opportunities.
- You have a one-page website, and only a handful of companies in your field compete in search. Then a one-off fix of the title, description and text at €30 per hour is usually enough.

What you get
Keyword research
We gather search queries from Google Search Console, Google's suggestions and competitors' pages, then group them by intent: whether the person wants to learn, compare or buy. This shows which queries to target with service pages and which with articles.
Keyword-to-page map
One page for each group of queries. We draw up a "query → page" table so that no two pages compete for the same query, and plan new pages for missing topics.
Structure and URLs
We review the menu, categories and URLs: the most important pages should be reachable within 2–3 clicks of the home page, and addresses should be short and clear. If we change a URL, we set up a 301 redirect from the old one.
Page titles and meta descriptions
For every page, we write a unique title of up to 60 characters and a description of up to 155 characters. Each includes the main query and a reason to click: the price, timeline, location or another concrete fact.
Headings and content
One H1 heading, logical H2–H3 sections and a short answer to the main question in the first paragraph. We expand texts that are too thin with prices, timelines, the process and FAQs – exactly the information both customers and AI search look for.
Internal links
We link related services, categories and articles using descriptive anchor text. The most important pages get more internal links, and visitors can always see the next step.
Images
We give images clear file names and alternative text (alt), choose the right size and use the WebP format. This helps in image search and helps people who use screen readers.
Structured data for content
Based on the page content, we add Schema.org markup: service, FAQ, article, breadcrumb and organisation. The markup has to match what is visible on the page – otherwise Google ignores it.
Price
How much does on-page SEO cost?
Price from
€120
Ongoing on-page SEO is included in all monthly SEO plans: Start – €199/month (up to 10 keyword groups, 1 text a month), Business – €349/month (up to 30 groups, 2 texts), Premium – from €649/month (50+ groups, 4 texts). A one-off on-page SEO job, such as reworking all your service pages before the busy season, costs from €120: we give the exact price once we have seen the number of pages and the state of the texts. We make minor fixes at €30 per hour.
Prices include all taxes – no VAT is added (we are not VAT-registered). The minimum monthly SEO contract term is 3 months. For one-off work, we give the price and timeline in a quote before we start.
What the price depends on
- The number and types of pages to optimise: services, categories, articles.
- How many keyword groups need researching, and how competitive your field is.
- Whether the texts just need expanding or have to be rewritten from scratch.
- Whether the site structure and URLs change – then we also prepare 301 redirects.
- The number of language versions.
- The website platform: whether titles, descriptions and structured data can be edited in the admin area, or a developer is needed.
Additional costs
- New or rewritten texts, if you need more than the plan includes – from €29 per page.
- Template or module changes (e.g. to make category descriptions editable) – €30 per hour, or under a separate quote.
Timeline
How long does on-page SEO take?
We sort out the titles, meta descriptions and headings of the key pages in the first month, while expanding the content and internal links continues for another 2–3 months. Google notices changes within a few days or weeks, and shifts in rankings and clicks usually show after 3–6 months.
| Period | What we do | What you can see |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 weeks | keyword research, a query-to-page table, a structure review | which page is responsible for which query |
| 1 month | titles, meta descriptions and headings on the key pages, fixing pages that compete with each other | how impressions and clicks change in Search Console |
| 2–3 months | expanding texts, new pages, internal links, structured data | impressions for new queries |
| 3–6 months | analysing results and optimising further pages | changes in rankings, clicks and queries |
Process
How it works
- Free initial review1–2 working days
We look at your 3–5 most important pages and their queries, point out what is missing and tell you whether on-page SEO will be enough or technical fixes come first.
- Keyword research1–2 weeks
We gather and group search queries, assess competitors' pages and what Search Console currently shows about your website.
- Keyword-to-page map2–3 working days
We draw up a table: which query goes to which page, which pages to merge and which are missing. We agree the plan with you.
- Changes on the website1 month
We fix titles, meta descriptions, headings, texts and links directly on the website, or prepare a brief for your developer.
- Content expansionmonthly
We add the missing answers – prices, timelines, the process, FAQs – and write new pages according to the plan.
- Report and the next roundmonthly
Every month we send a report on the work done and Search Console data by page. We keep improving pages that get impressions but few clicks.
Comparison
On-page, technical or off-page SEO: what's the difference?
| Criterion | On-page SEO | Technical SEO | Off-page SEO |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it deals with | page content and structure | how search engine crawlers reach and index the website | the website's reputation on other websites |
| Examples | keywords, title tags, H1–H3, content, internal links | robots.txt, XML sitemap, canonical URLs, redirects, speed | backlinks, mentions, directories |
| Who does it | an SEO specialist and a copywriter | a developer together with an SEO specialist | an SEO specialist together with your company |
| When it comes first | pages are indexed but rank low or for the wrong queries | pages don't get indexed, the website is slow | the content is in good shape, but competitors have more trusted links |
| In monthly SEO plans | all of them – from €199/month | Start – an initial audit and fixes; Business and Premium – every month | Business and Premium – from €349/month |
Examples
Typical projects
Two pages competing for the same service
- Situation
- For example, a construction company has a "Roofing" service page and an article on roofing prices. For the commercial query, Google keeps alternating between the two, and neither gets beyond the second page of results.
- Solution
- A query-to-page table: the commercial query stays with the service page, while the article answers the informational question and links to the service. The titles and headings of both pages are rewritten for their own queries.
- Result
- A clear page for each query, and the ability to track in Search Console how impressions change for both pages.
Lots of impressions, few clicks
- Situation
- For example, a clinic's service pages appear in search thousands of times a month but rarely get clicked: they all have the same title, and Google picks a random sentence from the page for the description.
- Solution
- Unique titles and descriptions with the service, the city and a concrete fact – a "from" price or the option to book online; a short answer to the main question in the first paragraph.
- Result
- Clearer search results, and the ability to compare click-through rates before and after the changes.
A new website with no keyword plan
- Situation
- For example, a company is planning a new website, and the menu follows the company's departments rather than the way customers search for its services.
- Solution
- Keyword research before the website is built: the structure, URLs and list of pages are based on query groups, and each page gets a main query and headings.
- Result
- A site structure that won't need redoing a year later, and a clear brief for the copywriter.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
It means changes on the website itself that help Google understand what each page is about and which query it fits best: mapping keywords, titles, meta descriptions, headings, content, internal links and structured data. Technical SEO makes sure the website can be crawled and indexed, and off-page SEO deals with links and mentions on other websites.
