Custom online store built on Laravel
A custom online store is one whose catalogue, basket, pricing and admin area are developed around your sales process, rather than squeezed into a template platform. Saitai.lt builds these stores on its own content management system, developed with Laravel. Prices start at €2,900, and the timeline is usually from 6 weeks.

Who it’s for
- You rent out equipment, vehicles or premises: customers need to see availability, choose dates and pay a deposit online.
- You sell to businesses: each customer has their own prices, discounts or payment terms, and several employees of the same company place orders.
- Your product is configurable: the price depends on dimensions, material and extras, and buyers want to see it straight away (e.g. furniture, windows, printing).
- An order has to reach several systems: your accounting software, warehouse system, CRM or production plan.
- You sell subscriptions, recurring orders or service bundles that a standard basket can't handle the way you need.
- Your existing WooCommerce store has accumulated dozens of plugins that conflict after every update, and the feature you need is still missing.
When it’s not the right fit
- You sell in a standard way: catalogue, basket, payment, parcel locker. A WooCommerce store (from €999) will be cheaper and quicker to launch.
- You want to choose from thousands of ready-made plugins and themes yourself. In a custom store, every new feature is developed – it fits you exactly, but isn't installed with one click.
- Your budget is under €2,900 and the non-standard logic can wait. Then it is worth starting with WooCommerce and building a custom store once your process has settled.
- You only need an internal order or warehouse system for staff, without a public store. A CRM or reporting software is a better fit for that.
Included
What you get
Technical specification and prototype
We describe the product structure, pricing rules, order statuses and integrations, and agree a prototype of the key screens. The specification becomes an annex to the contract, so it is clear what the price includes.
A catalogue built around your range
Product attributes, variants, bundles or configurable products – whatever structure your products need, with search and filters.
Your pricing logic
Prices for customer groups or individual customers, volume discounts, prices by rental period or product parameters – calculated automatically in the basket.
Payments and shipping
Paysera, Montonio, Stripe or pro forma invoice; Omniva, DPD, LP Express or Venipak parcel lockers – connected via the providers' APIs.
An admin area that fits how you work
Order statuses, roles and permissions (e.g. sales manager, warehouse, accounts), order notes, and export to Excel and PDF.
Integrations with your systems
Accounting software, warehouse system, CRM or supplier XML feeds – data is passed via API or import, with no manual re-keying.
SEO and speed
Clean URLs, Product structured data, a sitemap and page text that search engine crawlers can read without JavaScript.
Testing, training and warranty
Test orders for every scenario, training for users in each role and a 12-month warranty: during this time, we fix system bugs free of charge.
Price
How much does a custom online store cost?
Price from
€2,900
A custom online store built on Laravel costs from €2,900. The price depends on how much non-standard logic and how many integrations you need: we set the exact amount based on the technical specification and write it into the contract. If a standard basket is enough for your business, a WooCommerce store costs from €999.
Prices include all taxes – no VAT is added (we are not VAT-registered). The final price depends on the project, and we write it into the contract together with the timeline before work starts.
What the price depends on
- How many non-standard scenarios you need: rentals, bookings, a configurator, subscriptions, B2B orders.
- How complex your pricing is: prices for customer groups, contract prices, volume discounts, multiple currencies.
- The number of integrations, and whether the systems have an API: accounting, warehouse, CRM, supplier XML feeds.
- Admin area roles, order statuses and reports.
- Migrating product and customer data from an existing store or Excel.
- Languages – each extra language adds 15% to the project price if you supply the translated texts, or about 20% if we translate them (we translate with the help of AI and then edit the text so it reads naturally).
Additional costs
- A custom Laravel store is hosted on a virtual private server (VPS), sized to the scope of your store, or on your own server; the price depends on this.
- A VPS (hosting and maintenance: updates, backups, checks of payments and shipping) – from €29/month.
- Payment provider fees – at the providers' rates; there are no licence fees for the store software.
- New modules after launch – €30/hour or under a separate quote agreed in writing.
Timeline
How long does it take to build a custom online store?
Usually from 6 weeks: we set the exact timeline based on the technical specification and write it into the contract. A larger project can be launched in stages – first the catalogue, basket and payments, then integrations and extra modules.
| Stage | What happens | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Technical specification and prototype | scenarios, pricing, roles, integrations, screen prototype | 1–2 weeks |
| Design | home, category, product, basket and customer account pages | 1–2 weeks |
| Development | catalogue, basket, your logic, admin area | 2–6 weeks |
| Integrations and data | payments, shipping, accounting, product and customer import | 1–2 weeks |
| Testing and launch | test orders, fixes, training | 1 week |

| Data and code | on the platform's servers, hard to move | open source; the data and files are yours | the data is yours; code handover as per the contract |

Examples
Typical projects
A furniture configurator
- Situation
- For example, a furniture maker sells made-to-measure wardrobes: the price depends on width, height, material and extras, and at the moment a sales manager calculates it in an Excel spreadsheet and sends it by email.
- Solution
- A store with a configurator: the buyer chooses the parameters, the price updates instantly, and the order, with all its dimensions, goes into the admin area and the production list.
- Result
- A price for the buyer with no waiting, fewer errors from re-keying dimensions, and orders outside working hours.
B2B ordering for a wholesaler
- Situation
- For example, a food wholesaler takes orders by phone and email: each customer has contract prices and payment terms, and sales managers re-key orders into the accounting software.
- Solution
- A store with customer accounts: customers see their own prices and stock levels, order without paying by card, and the order is passed to the accounting software via API.
- Result
- Fewer calls and less re-keying, orders without pricing errors, and the full order history in the customer's account.
A coffee subscription
- Situation
- For example, a coffee roaster wants to sell subscriptions: the buyer chooses a coffee and delivery frequency, and payment and shipping need to repeat automatically.
- Solution
- A store with a subscription module: recurring card payments, the option to pause the subscription or switch coffee in the account, and a weekly shipping list for the warehouse.
- Result
- Predictable revenue and repeat orders with no manual work.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Both start at €2,900, but they solve different problems. Premium is a WooCommerce store for a large range: XML sync, B2B prices for customer groups and accounting integration, while the checkout flow stays standard. You need a custom store when the flow itself changes: rentals, a configurator, subscriptions or complex B2B order approval.
