Website accessibility audit and fixes (WCAG 2.2 AA)
A website accessibility audit and fixes means assessing a website or online store against the WCAG 2.2 AA criteria and removing the barriers found, so that people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities can use it too. Saitai.lt checks your page templates and the checkout or registration journey, then fixes the theme, forms and content. An audit costs from €120 and usually takes 1–3 working days; we quote the fixes based on the audit report.

Who it’s for
- You run an online store that sells to consumers, and your company is not a micro-enterprise: it has 10 or more employees, or its annual turnover and balance sheet total each exceed €2 million. Such a store is covered by Lithuania's Law on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services.
- Customers order or pay for services on your website: they register, buy tickets or subscriptions.
- You are a state or municipal institution that is required to publish an accessibility statement.
- You supply products or services to companies whose end users are consumers, and your partners ask you to confirm that you have taken care of accessibility.
- An automated test shows contrast, alt text or form errors, but you don't know where to start.
- You are planning to update or rebuild your website and want accessibility assessed from the outset rather than fixed later.
When it’s not the right fit
- You need a legal opinion on whether the law applies to you. That is for the service provider to assess, and if in doubt it is worth consulting a lawyer; we identify the technical barriers and fix them.
- You need a compliance certificate or guarantee. We don't provide them: we give you an audit report and fix the issues we agree on.
- You only want to install an accessibility widget (a button at the side of the website). It doesn't fix errors in the code, so we don't offer that service.
- Your website is built with a website builder (e.g. Wix) and you want to keep it there. In that case, you can only change what the platform allows.
Included
What you get
Consultation and proposal
Based on your website address and your answers, we estimate how many page templates and which user journeys need checking, and give you the audit price and timeline. The consultation is free; the audit itself is paid, from €120.
Automated testing
We check each page template with Lighthouse, WAVE and axe DevTools: contrast, alt text, form field labels and heading structure.
Manual testing
We go through the checkout or registration journey using only the keyboard, zoom the page to 200% and check it on a 320 px wide screen. Screen reader testing is agreed separately.
A prioritised report
For each issue, we give its location, the WCAG criterion, the impact on users and how to fix it. First come the issues that stop people ordering or buying.
Theme and form fixes
We fix contrast, focus styles, menu and button names, form field labels, error messages and the "Skip to content" link. Once a template is fixed, every page that uses it improves.
Content clean-up
Alt text for images, tables instead of images of tables, and documents; video captions are agreed separately. We tidy up larger volumes of content ourselves or show your team how to do it.
Accessibility information
We help you prepare a page describing how your service meets the accessibility requirements, which limitations are known and how to report a barrier.
Re-test
Once the work is done, we check that the agreed issues have been fixed and give you an updated report.
Price
How much does a website accessibility audit and fixes cost?
Price from
€120
A website accessibility audit costs from €120 and usually takes 1–3 working days: the price and duration depend on the number of different page templates and on how many issues lie in the theme. We write the price of the fixes into the contract based on the audit report. If the theme is outdated and the CMS needs updating too, a website update costs from €299.
Prices include all taxes – no VAT is added (we are not VAT-registered). We write the price and timeline into the contract before work starts.
What the price depends on
- How many different page templates need checking: home page, category, product, basket, form, article.
- Whether only the checkout or registration journey is checked, or the whole website.
- Whether the issues are in a theme that can be fixed, or the theme needs replacing.
- How much content needs tidying up: image alt text, PDF documents.
- Whether the payment or registration window is provided by an external service: we cannot change its interface, but we can advise on the provider.
- Whether you need accessibility information or an accessibility statement prepared.
Additional costs
- A website update, if the theme or plugins are no longer supported – from €299; accessibility barriers can be removed at the same time.
- Licences for premium plugins or themes – at their makers' prices.
- It is worth repeating the audit after every major update; small fixes cost €30/hour, maintenance from €29/month.
Timeline
How long do an accessibility audit and fixes take?
We reply to your enquiry within 1 working day with the audit price and timeline. A full audit usually takes 1–3 working days, and we give the timeline for the fixes in our proposal – it depends on the number of templates and the amount of content. A technical website update (CMS, theme, plugins) takes from 5 working days, and the time needed to tidy up content depends on how much there is.

Examples
Typical projects
An online store's checkout journey
- Situation
- For example, a company with 15 employees sells to consumers through a WooCommerce store. An automated test shows contrast errors, and the quantity buttons in the basket have no names.
- Solution
- We check search, the product page, the basket, the order form and the payment step with the keyboard and automated tools, fix the theme and form fields, and help prepare the accessibility information.
- Result
- A report, a fixed checkout journey and a clear list of the remaining work.
An old Joomla website with an unsupported theme
- Situation
- For example, a service company's Joomla theme is no longer updated by anyone, the menu doesn't work with the keyboard and the colour contrast is too low.
- Solution
- As part of the website update, we replace the theme with a supported one, build contrast and focus styles into the design stage, and restructure the menu.
- Result
- An updated website with the accessibility barriers removed in a single project.
A municipal institution's accessibility statement
- Situation
- For example, a municipal institution has to publish an accessibility statement but doesn't know which limitations to include in it.
- Solution
- We check the website against WCAG 2.2 AA, fix what can be fixed, and set out the remaining limitations and their reasons in a draft statement.
- Result
- A statement backed by an audit, and a plan for resolving the remaining issues.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
No. Compliance with the Law on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services is assessed by the service provider itself, so we don't issue certificates or guarantees. We give you an audit report: what was checked, against which WCAG 2.2 AA criteria, what was fixed and which limitations remain. You can use it when preparing your accessibility information.
